REPORTER VOICE OVER:
The
National Domestic Violence
Hotline – based in
Texas
– receives thousands of calls
a month from women in abusive
situations.
Research shows that three
out of every four Texans know
someone who is a potential
victim, yet few bother to get
involved. Experts say if more
friends or family members
stepped forward to help, there
could be far fewer deaths and
injuries. This is Cristina Lopez
reporting.
